Manual Aquavalve
The Aquavalve® has been designed as a two way diverting Marine Valve to divert treated or untreated sewage into a holding tank or treatment system. This valve is ideal for marine and industrial applications. Manufactured in a super tough glass reinforced nylon composite, the Aquavalve® is robust, and can handle hot or cold water, as well as waste treatment chemicals.
This valve is attached to the bulkhead where pipes are seen.
Electronic Aquavalve®
The Electronic Aquavalve® allows the diverting valve to be operated with the push of a button on the supplied control panel.
The indicators on the control panel show the current position of the valve. The valve has two positions ‘holding tank’ or ‘overboard’
Electronic Aquavalve Control Panel.
Generally supplied with Electronic Aquavalve®‘s on purchase, these panels can also be purchased as a stand alone item if such a need arises.
This panel gives the user control of the direction of effluent from the Aquavalve® to either a Holding Tank or Overboard.
Two lights on the panel clearly indicate the position the Aquavalve® is in – Overboard or Holding tank. (One control panel is always included with each Electronic Aquavalve®)
Hoses and Hard Piping.
Cheap 25mm marine sanitation hose (sometimes marked odour free) retails for around $12 – $15 only lasts 12 to 18 months before it will permeate. A rubber approved sanitation hose that costs around $55 – $65 per metre will last 10 years.
Hard Piping (must be high pressure PVC water pipe CLASS 18) will last the life of the boat and will never permeate.
Professionals use hard pipe and amateurs use hose.
25mm hard pipe costs around $15 – $18 per metre so is a good alternative to hoses.
You will need to put hose at each end but the bulk of the piping should be hard pipe.
Ball Valves
These ball valves are IMCI approved to ISO standard 9093-2 and are ideal for controlling inlet and outlet water requirements.
The shells of these valves are moulded in a glass reinforced nylon composite material providing high impact and tensile strength, resulting in a light weight unit, free from corrosion and electrolysis.
The internal workings are moulded in a Teflon enhanced polymer for a smooth action, also ensuring continuous ease of operation over many years.
Position Monitored Ball Valves
Position Monitored Ball Valves are fitted with sensors, which enable remote indication of the valve as to whether it is in the closed or open position.
These valves can be easily wired to the engine ignition switch to enable startup to only occur when the water intake valve is open – helping to avoid possible engine overheating caused by accidental or inadvertent water intake closure.
Our valves coupled with a Seacock Monitor enables display monitoring of the status of all the seacocks on a vessel. This does away with the hassle of obtaining visual confirmation of seacocks mounted in inaccessible areas. As with many of our products, these valves are IMCI approved to ISO standard 9093-2
Vented Loops
This 12 Volt Solenoid activated Vented Loop is designed to be fitted into the intake pipe for a Electric Toilet and wired to the Toilet operating switch.
When the toilet pump is operated water is sucked in through this intake pipe and the solenoit shuts off during this proces to allow maximum intake flow.
When the toilet pump is stopped the solenoid opens to then act as a syphon break to stop water syphoning back into the toilet system the same way that a manual vented loop operates.
